Greystones Garda reported yesterday that thieves have stolen computer games and game consoles worth almost 1 million euro from a warehouse owned by the Smyth's toystore chain. They have advised the public to be suspicious of anyone offering low priced GameCubes, GameCube games and Playstation 2 games.
They include games like the GameCube versions of 'Medal of Honour', 'Stronghold Crusader' and 'Lego Drum Racer' and 2,500 copies of the PS2 versions of EA's '007 Night Fire' along with 'TY The Tasmanian Tiger', 'LMA Manager', 'Spiderman The Movie Game', Tony Hawk' and Harry Potter games.
If you have any information on the theft or have been offered under priced games you can contact Greystones Garda at 01-6665800.
